ACCEPTANCE TESTING
Confirm that your equipment is installed correctly, functions properly, is installed per the engineering specifications and works as designed by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Make sure your equipment is sufficiently tested once installed.
LOW VOLTAGE BREAKER TESTING
Testing your circuit breakers is critical to ensure proper reliability of your system and to ensure protection of your employees in the event of a fault. We perform primary and secondary injection testing for all breaker manufacturers.
PROTECTIVE RELAY TESTING
Test any style of protective relays including ABB, SEL, Multilin, GE. Our experience covers all protective relay applications from transmission, distance, bus differential schemes, transformer differential, feeder protection, generator protection and others. Develop test plans, procedures, and on site training.
SWITCHGEAR TESTING
Switchgear, MCC, and panelboard testing. We have experience performing insulation testing, high potential testing, contact resistance testing on the bus structures, PT, CT testing. Regardless of your LV or MV switchgear needs, we have experience with testing these devices.
SUBSTATION COMMISSIONING
Substation testing, commissioning and startup services. We can perform all of the acceptance testing on your power transformers, circuit breakers, disconnect switches, LTC’S, reactors, protective relays, ground grid testing, etc. We also provide substation project management teams to help you manage your upgrades or new substation build outs.
TRANSFORMER TESTING
We perform per testing per NETA/IEEE standards. Including PF, TTR, Winding Resistance, SFRA and oil samples. Our certified technicians can perform LV, MV and HV bushing change outs, gasket repairs, dress outs, oil processing and other services.
MEDIUM VOLTAGE BREAKER TESTING
We can properly test your MV breakers whether air frame style breakers or modern vacuum style circuit breakers. We can perform contact resistance testing, vacuum bottle integrity testing, over potential testing, minimum trip voltage testing and the full battery of NETA’s recommended tests.
HIGH VOLTAGE BREAKER TESTING
Power factor testing, over potential testing, timing tests, 100 amp contact resistance, auxiliary device testing, etc. This includes SF6, vacuum or the older oil circuit breaker (OCB) type of internal inspections and testing services.
GROUND GRID SYSTEM TESTING
Point-to-point testing of your substations, fall of potential testing, and other related grounding testing. When we initially test your system, we place Tags on every ground point that we test so that we can cross reference that point back to the test point on our reports.
CABLE TESTING
LV, MV or HV cable testing for your new or service aged cables. Testing capabilities include Tan Delta, VLF, DC Hipot, and Partial Discharge. We can also assist with cable fault locating – identifying the faulted location, repair and retesting.
